The Church Family Picnic is being planned for September 21st at Twin Bridges Park on Hwy 6, from 10 am until 2 pm. Hot dogs and hamburgers and drinks will be provided. Bring horse shoes and outdoor games and a volleyball. Swimming is available in the lake. Reserve the date. Be sure and sign the signup sheet in the Narthex so we can get a headcount or call or email the church office.

Know what your religion means in today’s world. Christianity and fourteen other religious faiths are examined and compared, with a goal of
identifying the central teachings of each and providing some tools for Christians who encounter people of other faiths in their daily lives.
Religions examined:
Christianity;  Judaism;  Islam;  Hinduism;  Buddhism;  Sikhism;  Shinto;  Confucianism and Daoism;  Mormonism;  Jehovah’s Witnesses;  Scientology;  The New Age;  Satanism;  Rastafarianism;  Atheism.
Wednesday Morning / Evening Bible Study 10:30 am or 7:00 pm
The class will meet for 1.5 hours and begins on September 4, 2019.  Genesis – In the Beginning…” it is the beginning of everything: the earth, the universe, plants, animals, humans, also sin and the need for a Savior.
New Member Class
“What do Lutherans Believe?”
The New Information Class will be beginning Tuesday, august 13, 6:00 – 7:30 pm.  This class is designed for those interested in learning about the Lutheran church; members who wish to brush up on what we believe, teach and confess.
If you would like to take the class or if you have any questions, please talk to Pastor Kolb. This class will be taught periodically throughout the year.
